Market cap of 101M is an insult!

The math is wrong on so many levels I don't even know where to begin. Gold about to bust through 1900 an ounce and keep going. But the real gains will start when the zombie masses realize that in fact gold has preserved and created wealth through centuries of wars and depressions which is exactly where we are heading this decade. You think Russia, an oil rich nation with nukes will let that money go without a fight? You're about to find out. 30 trillion debt rising by the second and double digit inflation will also crash the dollar, it's a mathematical certainty, only question is when. Sweet dreams lol.

Hello Trg418,   Is a market cap of $100 million actually an insult to Cerrado? It is important to understand that despite sales of $18 million in the last quarter and $48 million for the first 9 months, Cerrado is losing money in both cases. Despite the interim results presented recently for 2021-Q4, the game is not won. Cerrado is a young company and believing that it could become very ...more

Hey Phil, welcome back:) We will see Q4 financials and see if they're losing money at full production capacity. You can't judge prior quarters during the turnaround phase of transforming an unprofitable mine into a money printing machine. That would be premature speculation. You seriously think they've been losing money for a whole year while announcing 2 heap leaching operations, and ...more

Believing that Cerrado lost money is not a choice, it is what the financial statements show. If Q4 results close the year with profits, that will be good news. Subsequently, Cerrado will have to demonstrate its ability to maintain and improve its financial situation. Remember this: Trust is earned over time. If Cerrado is able to generate enough free casflow, she can effectively grow without ...more

True indeed Phil, they did lose money but if you subtract the money they spent those quarters on improving efficiency of the mine, as in no longer necessary now as it is in full production, those previous quarters would all be profitable except the 1st one since the mine was such a disaster previously. It's why Q4 numbers are so important, let's see how much they generate at full capacity ...more

I believe it would be necessary to revise your forecasts with regard to production costs. Investments that consist in improving the operation of the plant are expenses that accumulate in tangible fixed assets. IFRS accounting rules require this. Consequently, these expenses are amortized over the useful life of the plant and the amount is established according to the ounces of gold extracted and ...more

I'm forward looking here, 0 worries. Ask yourself honestly where the price of gold will be in a double inflationary environment with war in Europe on the horizon and a global debt and energy crisis! Heap leaching is projected to come in at 1100 AISC. I just want them to keep increasing production even if they're losing money initially because in the not so distant future where gold is 2500 ...more
