I think mcap is now  under what they payed for mdn ...and i think they owe still usd 10 millions to the former owner . 
Will Sprott get the lion' share ? 
Violent move for the stock coming ....up or down that's the question.

       Question of not scaring the perhaps future shareholder who could benefit from these ridyculously low shorts, here is what is small print in the presentation updated in february...             As of Sept 30, 2023 (includes ~$7m in restricted cash set aside for payments to sellers of MDN.

Many thx . . I kept in mind the last tranche ( 10) was due 60 months after the deal . So rather a good news . Btw , i don't want to scary anyone . I just contemplate the desaster .  And i still hold . .. ! What's your take on the outcome .? What to think about mngmt ?

        For your first question,    1981 average selling price per oz in the 4th quarter. The 4th quarter was difficult, but i don't think it's catastrophic like the short sellers trying to make us believe... Moreover the price of gold as held up really well since the start of the year. Cerrado does not control its costs and the bulk of the problems are with pit extraction. The stripping ratio must absolutely go down.   The causes and solutions can be numerous. No doubt, the cure is going to require investment, and Cerrado doesn't have that money. That said, the dilution could be significant, but allow Cerrado to return to profitability; and be more resilient when ...more

In the spirit of contemplating the potential worst case: I think all the debt is owed by the Argentina subsidiary and not the parent holding company. So I think if the Argentina subsidiary defaults on its debts the MDN mine assets will go into receivership and not the Brazilian or Quebec assets. To me this would be an acceptable worst case outcome. Would like to hear any thoughts for or against ...more
