TSX Venture 50 Ranking Contact Exploration Inc. Achieves TSX Venture 50 Ranking
Contact Exploration Inc. ("Contact") (TSX VENTURE:CEX) is pleased to announce that it has been included on the 2014 TSX Venture 50® as one of the top 10 performing companies in the oil and gas sector.
The TSX Venture 50® comprises the top 10 companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange in each of five industry sectors - Technology & Life Sciences, Mining, Oil & Gas, Diversified Industries and Clean Technology. This distinction acknowledges Contact's strong results in key measures of market performance in 2013, being based on four equally weighted criteria: market capitalization growth, share price appreciation, trading volume and analyst coverage.
Since its corporate restructuring in 2010, this is the second time Contact has been included on the TSX Venture 50®, having been acknowledged by the TSX Venture Exchange as one of the top performing stocks in the oil and gas sector in 2011.
