I think someone already answered this but yeah its the Canadianinsider dot com site. Clays trades in some of these companies can move the stock but he's probably playing these guys from a take over perspective. He is thinking a bigger name takes them out...likely an Encana which is really repositioning their mix to be more liquiids rich and less dry gas focused. So like originally the idea was for ECA to shore up their b/s. The recent Eagleford purchase, a large deal, spends money they got from floating prarie sky so I think that rather than say they are actually focusing on their b/s it would be more accurate at least currently to view ECAs moves as 1. repositioning of liquids to gas mix 2. capital efficiency so closing offices and sacking people that aren't doing anything and 3. FOCUSING their capital plan from dozens of plays to a few. Doesn't mean ECA couldn't [easily] swallow up guys like Contact and Donnycreek.
