So am I to understand that CEX just gave away our land holdings in NB and NS to a new startup company? How will our shares be rewarded for giving away half the company?

It was only the 50000 acres in New Brunswick and only for the gas rights. Contact still holds the oil rights. Best deal possible for unproven dry shale gas

Actually that's the opposite. CEX received 1.3M$ and 15% of Pieridea's share for Pieridea to own 15% participation in the startup. CEX owns 85% of the startup.
