I'm quite surprised that there hasn't been interest or discussion pro or con regarding the " DCK - CONTACT " MERGER .Estimated " CONTACT ENERGY " financial closing date NOV.13,2014 ( bought deal , gross proceeds $20 million,54,000,000 Contact shares @ $0.37 per share )

Hmm , don't Contact Energy shareholders want to voice their opinions regarding this merger ??

According to the terms of the merger agreement ,CEX ,DCK conversion to Kicking Horse Energy ; Contact Energy shareholders will be obligated to pay the equivalent of $4.93 per share of Kicking Horse Energy .

Donnycreek shareholders are also paying $4.93, so I am not sure what your beef is? CEX shareholders end up with more of the prime proven block than before. How is that bad?
