Why own Kicking Horse?

See the quarterlies of Seventh Generation and Paramount.  Paramount is down substantially and offers and incredible entry point.  You can expect Paramount will be doing something to reduce their debt pressure.  

On the otherhand what is the solution for Kicking Horse to do about its hgh debt load.  Financing? That means dilution for the shareholders.  Wait for Cash Flow to pay down debt?  Not in this commodity price environment.  We are waiting for the Quarterly and from that we can calculate out the netback.  

Look at Delphi, stock continues to fall.  Number one issue their debt.

I think the intention here is for people to simply ask the question Righand2. I am sure there are a lot of ones that due to misses / general market have tremendous upside - the key here is does Kicking Horse. The lack of support is concerning along with the lack of insider ownership in my opinion. I have always prefered to own companies with a strong non-diluted ownership. The other concerning ...more

The only ones left are Randy Kwasnicia and Colin Watt, and they transferred all of their Donnycreek shares over to Kicking Horse, and have sold none. As well, they are just directors, so have no influence over the day to day operations of the company. The Contact crew is in charge, and if you are calling them crooks as well, maybe you should simply quit posting along with your bashing partner. I ...more

Yes I am aware of that was said in your post - but the actions that got them (DCK) into trouble in the first place were approved by the board, these included the private placement among other things. Its disconcerting thats all. I do not deny that these are good assets, its a great neighborhood. Question is that if commodity prices persist and they have a lack of access to capital do they survive ...more
