There is no doubt the gangs of thieves (calling themselves the government down in Ecuador) intended to nationalized all the natural resources. This is their way of doing it - sit on everything until the investors got tired and just give up and walk away. Their so call national company will just walk in and take things over. Brilliant. No one will even accuse them of stealing.
They can spin all the verbiage they want but until they act differently, I think commercial mining in Ecuador by Canadian companies is nothing but a pipe dream.
