Hey S .

Hey S . Succesful mines up North . Yup plenty . Read on .  A few days ago someone asked about mines in the Canadian north. Here are few successful mines that were (or are) located above the tree line (in the barren lands): Polaris (Pb/Zn), Nanisivik (Pb/Zn), Lupin (Au), Mary River (Fe), Ekati (diamonds), Diavik (diamonds), Meliadine (Au), and Medowbank (Au). These are the mines that come to mind immediately but I am sure there are others (I believe there was a nickel mine at Rankin Inlet many years ago).
