How many years will COVID take?
"
Potential sales of CILI product to BARDA"
We don't know the terms of the contract. However, since BARDA is paying $84.9mm for development for CILI, how much, if anything, will Kalytera make on sales?
If they don't receive BARDA for COVID, company is done.
1.) I am aware of that, but the initial definition for $84 mil says plenty. (They could have given out a $15 mil contract - they didn't.) I worked in supply management, you don't outline a contract that big wthout "intent"
2.) As I have pointed out before, COVID could be a game changer in the U.S. Trump DESPERATELY needs solutions to the deaths occuring BEFORE the Nov elections.
John Hopkins advocating for COVID therapies They are literally throwing money at vaccine and therapy projects right now and eliminating normal FDA processes. Could it get approved for "emergency use" ? Yeah, it could. Could "other" countries facing similar issues do the same thing - sure they could. If you haven't seen the millions spent already, you aren't following it very well.
Is this a slam dunk? Certainly not - but that goes along with investing in biotechs.
Bottom line: Many of us see potential - we just need the financial means to get to market. This business merger gets us close enough that any kind of break or good news could push us over the goal line. IF you are looking for a company that has 20 million in pocket, this isn't it and it will be a LOT more pricey.
Short-term - we need a break
Long-term - It looks a lot better (I didn't buy for a FLIP)
