CMC METALS POSTS RECLAMATION BOND FOR BISHOP MILL AND HIRES MILL MANAGER
CMC Metals Ltd. has posted the reclamation bond for the Bishop mill with the Bureau of Land Management in Bishop, Calif. The reclamation bond posted is $191,269 (U.S.) and enables the company to commence construction of the tailings pond. Construction of the tailings pond will begin before the end of the year.
The company further wishes to announce that it has engaged Jim Mathews as the mill manager of the Bishop mill. Mr. Mathews has over 30 years experience building and operating floatation plants throughout the Western United States. Mr. Mathews worked for the Bishop mill in the past and has expert working knowledge of its operation. Mr. Mathews will oversee the construction of the tailings pond and operations of the Bishop mill.
