RE:re: Shorts Man I get tired of explaining this. The data you are relying upon from shortdata.ca is criminally, irresponsibly, misleadingly WRONG. It is not the short position. The ONLY source for short data is IIROC. Bloomberg, stockwatch, and every other credible source gets their data from IIROC. Here is the link to IIROC. https://www.iiroc.ca/Documents/2021/ab44fc63-5d60-4932-9192-93e9d4ce2687_en.xls
the most recent data shows a short position of 3 million shares, a huge reduction of 7 million shares from the prior report want proof your idiot source is NOT the actual short position? Click on TSX it shows largest short position is enb. BUT it shows the shares short as 5 BILLION!! Obviously, that's impossible. Enbridge only has 2 billion shares outstanding. So I don't know what garbage is reported by shortdata.ca, but it's total garbage. Btw, the actual short on enb is 71 million. Which is the largest short on the TSX.

There has been a modest increase in short positions during the last two weeks;

CMC does have an overall high short ranking in the CSE at #9 using share count.
However, in dollar amounts, it doesn't add up to much.
See the link below and hit the CSE tab.
