we can't do anything about it , pefectly legal , just very shady when there is no volume but day tradrers ( as is the case here ) unfortunately they pull all the strings they set up their algorithims as to achieve their desired outcome they don't even look at the asks/bids the way you and I do , the algos do all their work for them 24/7 the only way this will stop is with ramped up volume

What am I missing?? Todays volume was 1.9 million(isnt that a fair amount)?? If the volume increases,the chances for bigger gains on small price movements would increase. The scalper analogy is interesting, I am always hoping to buy at one price and sell it higher!! I assume so is everyone on this  board.

Unless you have 8 millions shorts at 81c......  there is probably a lot short left hanging after the last climb that started at around 80c look like it's working taking the sp 2 cents every close for the last 2 weeks! 1.9  million volume is probably the lowest in quite sometime for CMC , don't forget this is a .90 cent share price , if it were a $10 stock there would have only been 190,000 shares traded . Either way the day traders are in control of it right now because no one is selling and few are willing to buy in until they see some concrete action/results/earnings . forgot to address your other point with the scalper analogy we all hope to buy at one price and sell at a higher price that may be over the course over a week , a month , a year or 10 years , that is investing but the short sellers we are speaking about like to do that 100 , 1000 or 10,000 times a day with tons of different stocks You do understand the difference that is why you see stand offs

For an investor you sure spend a lot of time watching, analyzing and posting about the same pennies. I added today at $.88 today, finally hit.  I have more orders at other pricepoints too that i won't touch, if they hit they hit.  I don't have time to watch if they are a penny away.
