Vanishing Corona Farm Labor PoolWe are only 1/3 field planted and the tomatoes are ready now to go in. Only one worker willing to work yesterday, with all others convinced they must stay home and protect families. We had a nasty run on our home town Supermarket and Walmart.... I can confirm... stripped bare. This mini-panic has really screwed over farmers trying to get in the ground for Spring. So...The old farmer is nose to the grindstone. Rumors say everyone is getting a check from The Government and therefore, stay home! Bell to bell ( what Hell ). Here I go. I sure hope AGRA puts some thought into and ahead of labor issues. Tex
