Ford seeking to buy Ontario nickel supplyNews just rolled down the corporate hill into our morning zoom meeting pre market.... LG Chem and Magna International are seeking to purchase 3 contracts. In 1 of the agreements would be to purchase low carbon battery metals to manufacture in another contract agreement for a battery plant in Ontario. The lower the carbon footprint the better as they seek goverment funding. The 3rd contract was an electrical contract for reduced rates and bring power to a "remote location" Ford is part of the talks as well, something about there electrified vechile manufacturing goals in Ontario. Auto manufacturers are setting their eyes on Ontario but there are worries about the new carbon taxes and high corporate taxes. If these issues are sorted out these companies feel they will have the upper hand in the north American ev market. A push is happening for talks with the goverment to dodge carbon tax and lower corporate taxes for 10 years. The goverment is juggling the decision of the carbon tax on the idea that these corporations are able to make the processes a record low foot print. Dont bet the farm on it, this is all speculation and chitter chatter among some insiders....the equivalent of church gossip, however if it's TRUE then we have something big on the way. We increased out position about 230k in 3 days and are increasing more at 1.87-1.92 if it hits there today so it should push past that as were talking around 750k push up bid. Good luck guys!
