i think he's referring to short trade volume over the past several months. Not the total short positions currently held. I posted almost the same thing a couple of weeks ago not to scare people but to help explain the downward pressure. If I were trading (rather than investing in) this stock I would be doing the same thing based on its pattern. Bottom line is that opportunities like cnc don't come along very often and if you hold your positions and don't panic on days where the sp is getting hammered there will be a pot of gold (or in our case nickel) at the end of the rainbow imo.
