Canada missed revenues in the 100s of billions! Enough to build multiple new hospitals every year. This is why despite all of our energy and natural resources Canada is not as prosperous as Saudi Arabia.
Yet, we send Germany back empty handed and they and Europe are stuck buying Russian gas so that they can fund their war machine while Canada gives billions to Ukraine for the war effort.
The cost to tax payers for this decision alone factoring interest is close to a trillion dollars.

Fast forward to 2022 when the Chancelor of Germany comes to Canada looking for LNG to replace Russian Natural Gas and Trudope says "NO". Alberta during the PET era said "Let the Eeastern B*d's Freeze in the Dark". Thanks to JT's stupidity, Euope will be doing that!
