BTW he only smelt the scam because of his mining buddy tip off, not his own skill.  Sold only half his position of $8 million after rolling all the dice of 250K cause his builder needed money or he would have held more. He never sold rest til the helicopter push and the price crashed.

He seems to have a talent for smelling BS a mile away:

(488) Warren Irwin | Discerning Mining Stock Scams from Bre-X until Today - YouTube

If you read the transcript or watch the video it explains a few things. He said he toured the site and there were a few things he wasn't comfortable with, but every point had a counter point. The locals were building houses, all the big players were lining up, etc. Then his lunch with the Kerr Addison exec brought up 20 or so red flags,  but he had counter arguments to each one. If you are going to blame him for being suckered, then you need to cast blame on all the Fortune 500 mining CEO's who were equally if not more suckered. They were all lining up for a piece.

Just like this board now. We keep
asking questions about potential red flags - If this is soo good, why isn't Dumont in production. Please explain the low Sulfur ratios. There's a counter ardent to each one.
