Mikeymike

Mikeymike Thought this was a very worthy post by Mikeymike via CEO on Mark's experience in the nickel mining game.

@Mikeymike426 I’d like to offer some clarity on Marks experience since it’s been questioned above.

Mark joined Inco back when it was the largest nickel company in the world as the head of commodity research in 2001 and was promoted to VP of Corporate Development & Strategy in 2005 just as the attempted merger of Inco & Falconbridge transpired.

Just before Mark took on Canada Nickel, he joined his former Inco colleagues at Royal Nickel as Executive VP of Corporate Development and took over as CEO in 2014. To be clear, the board at RNC was led by the former CEO, COO and EVP Marketing of Inco. Now do you honestly think they would have appointed someone to run their nickel company who didn’t know a lot about nickel?? Smh.

During his tenure at RNC, Mark and Co developed Dumont to the point of being fully permitted and ready for construction. Fun fact, Mark also developed a nickel roasting process at RNC which was successfully adopted by Tsingshan in 2014 (who is now world’s largest nickel/stainless producer). Do you think they would have worked Mark if he didn’t know what he was talking about?

Furthermore, Mark has been a nickel speaker at PDAC Commodity session multiple times and other global nickel and stainless conferences. He wouldn’t even be considered to speak at such events if he didn’t have the technical background.

@mining4life my advice to you is to bite your tongue. That mouth of yours is going to get you in a lot of trouble if you don’t stop with the slanderous and libellous remarks. You’ve already burned many bridges in Timmins so quit while your ahead.
