RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Canada Nickel plans zero-carbon N. Ontario mine clusterAre you kidding me? No one even comes close to as you in posting several to a dozen posts a day for three years while watching their investment erode from over 4 dollars to now. Nobody has benefited from your posts.
Dumot Keeps Sitting with No Takers
You keep comparing this to that Dumont deposit which is a large nickel laterite deposit located in Quebec. The deposit was discovered in the early 2000s owned by RNC Minerals /Karora, a Canadian mining company where shareholders did not necessarily reap benefits of the sale... check the stock price.
Dumont and CNC requires Considerable Upfront Costs
One reason why the Dumont deposit may not have been acquired by another company is that it is a large-scale mining project with significant upfront capital costs. Developing a large mining project like Dumont requires a significant investment in infrastructure, equipment, and human resources, as well as significant permitting and regulatory processes. This means that potential buyers may be deterred by the high initial costs required to develop the deposit. Lot's of government money provided but CNC doesn't seem to ever get any.
Nickel Market Is Highly Volatile and Future Uncertain with Battery Chemistries
Another reason may be that the nickel market has been volatile in recent years, with prices fluctuating significantly due to a range of economic, geopolitical, and environmental factors. This volatility can make it difficult for potential buyers to accurately assess the long-term profitability of a mining project like Dumont, which may be impacting their willingness to invest.
