Disappointed, but…

I posted this message about a week ago. "Today I was watching a clip on YouTube / Crux interview with the GIGA metals CEO and if you fast forward to 25:15 (below link) he describes a similar financing scenario as CNC. He mentions 'not talking to major mining companies' now because it is 'to premature' rather is looking to obtain a 'strategic investor' to provide about '$30 million dollars' to advance the project further, get a stock rerating and then sell the project down the road to a major 'at the highest price possible'  After watching this I've been left with this feeling that our strageic might be more of an industry financing firm and not a large mining company-- maybe for similar reasons as tne GIGA CEO. https://youtu.be/XMblPrZ4A0M.  On a more positive note as disappointed as most of us are that the strategic investor was not a major mining company it appears we got a substantial investment that other junior companies are looking for. I'm trying to stay positive with the hope we can prove out our district potential and attract a major mining company buy out hopefully this year around the timing of the FS.

I saw that interview with the ceo of Giga as well. My ears perked up when he said that he thought it was too early to talk to majors. My first thought was "Maybe he is saying that because he isnt having much luck attracting a major - so he is wanting to get ahead of questions asking him why they dont have a strategic in place".  But the difference is that Mark said that he will be ...more

Mark did say majors take a lot of time and many levels of guys to go through to get a deal done.Maybe that was the hint. Or maybe he started to run out of time and sensed any offer from them wasn't going to get him $45 million. Many a major has blown deals by waiting too long.

I want a buy-out. All along I thought once the feasibility study is done it will happen. In meantime, I'll live with these ups and downs. Too many good events like drill results will be happening.
