Mark Selby Interview

Great interview ! So much to unpack there. Mark was visiting South Korea to meet with various key supply chain/battery people last week, going by that this was recorded in Cape Town Indaba conference last weekend I believe. Also off to Australia after Korea per CEO board. Things must be gaining traction.

Excellent questions by Matt from Crux. Great insight on mine financing structure etc. We obviously have a helluva lot more nickel than the PEA with much more to come and $20 million dedicated to drilling the other properties over the next year.

Mine financing does not appear to be a problem with his sources and the heavy EV carmaker demand.

Waiting on the Ontario election to see any mine financial assistance from them. We just have to get through these market doldrums as well and will be first on people's buy lists.

Thanks for the link endzone, gonna watch it now. Always look forward to interviews with Matthew Gordon. Best in the business I'd say.

Yep, great interview. Learned lots and good to see what Mark wants out of all this.

Agreed, really good interview. Lots of info or at least more info. This is not a day trade stock. There is a huge return if your in for at least five years, HUGE. It seems like a lot of people are very impatient. This stock market isn't going to be like it was these past 30 years anymore. There will be minimal gains for day traders here on out. The safest place to keep your $ right now ...more

This is what people said about solar a decade ago. EVs will never take off at the rate they are making them. Five year wait times lol

"It will get built"... Don't shoot the messenger but isn't that what RNC told shareholders about Dumont? This time it's different? And this time shareholders will actually participate after funding discovery and explanation? Hope so but IMO so far market not convinced.

DrNo , difference in the nickel cycle and the desperate need for the metals, the governements are pouring tons of money in this space...and the fact that it's in Timmins were we get things done..Timmins will relish the jobs opportunities as Kidd shuts it's doors...timming is key and it looks like CNC is right on point...You need to look past the Selby story , it;s the resource i'm ...more

Dr No, things are different this time and dramatically. Several factors have imo made this mine much more likely. First, being the geopolitical map has changed obviously. Russian nickel is out of favor and will be for quite some time. Very few international companies will be interested in the stigma of it. Second, stainless from east Asia is not produced in an environmentally friendly manner. It ...more

Fair enough and hope you are right. I am actually hoping things work out here and am not short despite personal attacks by permabulls here. IMO strategic hype and flow-through financing and significant share price selloff here are valid concerns - doesn't mean you are short or a "basher" anymore than people who post nothing but rainbows and unicorns are "pumpers". So its not different ? Have you not read any of the multiple posts of late on Dumont ? Nickel was $5 a pound back then. There are 3 bidders for Dumont per CNC VP. Did you not listen to the video where Mark is talking to key battery supply chain people in South Korea as well as at INDABA? Are you really that blind to the EV business is exploding ? No wonder you're branded a short planting ...more
