Information leakage!

What bothers me is the information leakage yesterday befor today's announcement. It's obvious now that big jump yesterday was due to information leakage. Not good for the credibility of the company. Yesterday share price jumped 16% and today after announcement went up only 2%!

Leakage happens in blue chips just as much as mining stocks. Not like it doubled. On the move now at $2.10, hit 2.12 high.

I agree Endzone...but the insiders still profit from this fraud. Both in buying and selling before us  the small investors. But then again , a verry difficult thing to control given the 100's or 1000's who are involved up to the release of news. Oh well..applies to the whole global markets I guess. Glta today. I don't know about Canada, but this leakage would trigger investigation and fines in other countries.

I think you're out to lunch on that one Leo. Watch CNBC ? How many times do they say stock is up on rumor of this or that ? The whole market knew Mark was talking to all the big players. Look at the last several financings where the stock went up a $1 or more. The only person who should be concerned about leaks are the shorts. So trying to make a big deal out of 16% is a stretch so save your

Better call the USA then because every earning season there's pump and dumps.  They call this market expectations on the talking head shows but most of the time there's a dip before a good release and a spike before a bad.  This is simply big money players using capital markets and insider info to make money off the backs of retail that are weak handed.

How did you determine it was a leak by the company?

when you have individuals like agapaga that come on here saying days before that there would be a jump.   then again he said it about 30 to 40 times in the last two years and was wrong Essentially this helps pay for a feasibility report being hyped for two years now.  Low risk for Anglo but big risk for everyone else.
