Bought Deal Financing @ C$1.77

Company took advantage of the run up in the share price and the Anglo news to do a bought deal financing.  Unfortunately, as a result we will probably see the share price drop back to the C$1.77 range when it starts trading again tomorrow.

Already sitting with a nice long position.  If I wanted to add I would just participate in the public offering as I am a Scotiabank customer or buy on the open market tomorrow, depending on market reaction to the offering price. Not sure why the company felt they had to do the public offering at a discount of 16% to the halt price.  They probably could have done it at C$1.95 to match ...more

I started a long position in CNC back in early December @ C$1.36.  I am very happy with the recent Anglo partnership but I still can't understand the timing or pricing of yesterday's bought deal financing.  The only explanation I can give is that management saw it as opportunistic to piggyback a financing on the stock run-up from the Anglo news. It appears that most of the stock ...more

Interesting deal timing. I'm thinking the Anglo share pricing at $1.95 will keep this above $2. Too much new market cred reports from all the 7 analysts will come out in the morning as well.

I agree that the price should still stay north of $2 with the Anglo news and their buy-in price.

I doubt if the price stays above $2 when you can take the offer and buy at $1.77. I still don't understand why they offer it at such a big discount???

Maybe the deal is all spoken for? In that case it's in their best interest to prop up the price. We have new players stepping in here with Anglo opening the door wide. Bots may be in for a rough ride. Tons of RRSP money and TFSA cash out there too, that want to not risk missing the boat.

Closing on this is March 2, one day before Auramet loan due date of March 3.  I think the common share portion is to pay back the loan and the flow-through portion would be for more drilling.

Also, the one positive out of this deal maybe, is that Cnc can not deal in a position of power with no money in the bank.  This injection buys them time and not have to give the project away for a longer time perid. Being broke brings desperate measures, so better do it now. Either ways, a P.P was coming in the future so hopefully $1.77 is better than $1.25 later. We are talking only 7.4 ...more

Maybe the deal wasn't completely done yet at time of the vid or he just couldn't say legally but wanted to get the Anglo details out ASAP.          Either or, with the video discussion of Scotiabank having a whole mining division of strategic investors and Deutsche Bank with all the global reach as well as EV battery guys as clients I'd guess this was a spoken ...more

Also the line later in video about "the type" of money coming in not just the quantity. Says it all who they want in. No flipper shorters allowed.

same narrative at 4 dollars where you said big players would buy and ensure the price doesn't go down.  It crashed to almost a dollar.   to the newbies be very wary of endzone.

Who? Endzone the Barbarian?  If you aren't in CNC for the long hault then you are a worthless piece of _______ (Fill in the blanks Endzone).  I became wise to Endzones game in 2021 and when I realized he was an insider telling fables I got out before it was too late.  Didn't I Endy?  I was the first one that dared to question King Selby's empty promises and empty ...more

I agree iwanttoretire and remember what you experienced.   I recently asked endzone to validate his post where he said he was informed that a certain poster applied for a job and then defamed her.  Someone posted a narrative regarding alleged insiders and individuals that have some type of ties including mikeymike, brandy-Idlefreebirdbird and endzone.   The post got removed. & ...more

Bots or algorithmic trading is on liquid large caps not on penny stocks geared for newbie investors like this one. For someone that posts so much your ignorance astounds me.  Maybe invest your time doing some reading or taking a few courses.

that's what you said about the Auramet deal in 2021.  If you remember the price was set at 3.95 and the regulars here including myself sold knowing that the dilution wound crater the stock.  The stock fell from over 4 dollars to close to a 1 dollar.  That was to pay for the delayed feasibility continues to experience delay after delay. now again you are saying that the ...more

If the stock goes to $1.77 I'm loading up!  We just got a sweet deal with Anglo!

I am surprised by this.  They didn't halt yesterday pending the Anglo news this morning and then halt during trading today for more financing?  I wonder what they need the money for?  Mark said in the Crux interview that they were funded until feasibility.
