University of Texas / Canada Nickel CO2 Tech

A team of researchers from the Jackson School of Geosciences at the University of Texas have been developing a new technology that could potentially reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and the amount of energy required for mining critical minerals.

The project will last for three years with the first two being dedicated to lab studies followed by a full-scale field test conducted in partnership with Canada Nickel Company (TSX-V: CNC) (OTCQX: CNIKF).

Good article Endzone. Definitely some great publicity for CNC. It shows the direction they're trying to take the company in and govts around the world are going to take notice.  Of course this is just research, but if it proves out, it will be a game changer. GLTA.

Agreed apapas, also shows the majors once again you are setting this up to be a mine by trying to maximize recoveries to get max carbon credits.  Budget today will emphasize the new tax credits coming for equipment. Governments have never pushed metals production like this since WW2.  Funny how the dissers just don't get it, but they probably flunked that class.  Nickel ...more

You bring up technology and instead of having an intelligent discussion or even elaborating on your vague points on some research that's being completed you avoid the question and resort to personal attacks. Look at the volume.  You can buy perhaps one Tesla with the amount traded.  Yet you proclaim this company is worth 50 billion from a collection of properties recently acquired ...more

CanadianPatriot, even if we tried to answer your questions, your glass will always be half empty, and ours half full. You can not change that unless Cnc drops like a bomb in a short period of time. Please move on and deal with Cnc, and not the posters here. Glta

Craving put the pathetic crybaby on ignore. Obvious dark unstable history with CNC. We could get bought out for $20 tomorrow and they'd still act like a whiny beetch. Can't debate with stupid.

Endzone...I would put him on ignore if only I thought I knew better. His opinion....my opinion....only one of us is correct. My issue is the negativity, and the constant questioning.....right or wrong. Glta

Craving, we have a PEA, resource report, coming feasibility study, hiring debt advisor soon, one third of the way through permitting with a team of seasoned mine builders, some of whom built Detour Mine, tight with the governments who want to see CNC mine ASAP, Indigenous on board etc all meeting today in real pictures, lol,. Ya think this isn't for real yet? LOL

Endzone  I have 25k shares in Cnc. And not short a single share. So I know where I stand. Thanks

Just questioning why you would take an opinion from a multiple fake ID'er. Your choice bud.

So you continue to dodge a discussion on this research you are touting.  Since you like research let's discuss this one.  Low grade deposits are high risk ahd require considerable costs that you may never recoup.  Is this why no one is biting?  Tell us again how much shareholders made from the Dumont sale LOL  come on.... I dare you.   Let's start with ...more

Care to elaborate Endzone.  An area I've researched. There are many new technologies that may reduce carbon dioxide.  I stress the word MAY.  Lot's of government money flowing there and the approval process is easy as government is under spent due to a lack of research ideas. Is this promising for what reason?  Just because its being researched doesn't mean ...more

There sure is tangible benefits to shareholders.  Broader exposure to people that haven't even heard of the company.  Funded research on their geology with a pilot plant tested before permits are in place.  Possible renown being the first test by international researchers (pending results of findings).  It also sound like they're testing to see if the carbonation ...more
