Klondike2, I think that must be the best bit of reasoning i've seen since I've been reading the posts on this board..... and Barrhead, you're absolutely right about safety. I've worked around oil plants lots of times, and many places they will not let you work without doing a sniffer test first. I remember back 5 years ago and I shivered as i saw pictures of oil tanker trucker loading oil from the test they were doing at GHS. He didn't even attach a ground strap to the truck before loading. I just assumed that now all safety precautions would be in force.. Certainly no reason why they shouldn't be. It's just common sense ....but i guess you never know till something happens.
