Now, me son, what would make a Newfie any more home sick den da smell of fresh turrs ,shot dis' marnin, roastin in the oven. My kids and grandkids stretch from Nova Scotia to Ohio and one in Houston at present and they'd all love to have a feed of dem turrs right now, fer sur

I hopes yous  don't get yer long johns in a knot cause I calls ya Newfie  like som fellers doos dos' days. I think of the word Newfie as a term of endearment, more or less, as the majority of up-a-longers do also, I'm sure.. Or should I say," bless y lard, by, ya knows dem fellers don't mean any harm by callin us dat. Sur I likes dat, I do.
