RE:RE:RE:Dear CRE ManagementIn my opinion the message that would be sent would not result in direct removal. It could certainly send a message though. Maybe it would hurt feelings. Maybe it would be a 'last straw' for someone who is already on thin ice and perceived as a cancer in the company.
Given how few people actually vote their shares and the seeming reality that it is always 90+% in favour of every ham sandwich that wants to keep their job or get their appointment rubber stamped, it is pretty damn tough to change the course of things in the vote.
Now if enough people make it appear to the investment community that the confidence in the board or executive is being shaken to the point that the rank and file folks like us are pi55ed off enough to publicly declare that we believe they are undeserving of support...I bet that other institutional investors and partners would smell that and poke a little harder at the facts before joining up.
That could be just a matter of driving the 90+% down to 80%+ or 70%+.
In a world where they expect to get 95% an 80% feels like a real kick in the A55.
Just my thoughts.
But people need to vote their shares.
