Localized climate changes of 1 degree directly overhead wind farms because the turbine is moving is not such an issue. That would be like saying the air directly above your stove is a little warmer when your stove is on. What an observation! Might as well turn off every power generating and power emitting unit in the world, because they all generate heat of some sort.
It's the worldwide warming effect, particularly at the poles is the issue. Unless there's a plan to make a million turbines on Antartica, there's not really an issue. The fact that they can isolate the warming effect specifically to turbines is actually good news. That means the warming effect is not spreading and will stay local.
