Vast studies were done on Nuclear Plants warming up the entire Great Lakes by over half a degree and two degrees at the water exhausting. This is the major cause of the algae and affected the entire eco system of the lakes. That was not enough to stop nuclear plants from being built and I may add in high density areas like Pickering. Which of the two evils do you think is worst? Japan nuclear melt down dumped tones of radiated water into the ocean and the atmosphere. Nuclear rods are about 5000 degrees and need plenty of cool water to control them. None of the three nuclear meltdowns in the past decade is enough to discourage Nuclear plants either.

I assure you the heat is not enough of an issue to stop wind farms. Now the million dead birds caused by wind farm, you'd think that would be but that’s not enough either.
