stops taken out

stops taken outWell, it looks like traders have moved this stock up right from the open and then applied selling pressure in order to take out all the stops that CUU stock holders have put on their trading accounts.  Once all the stops have been hit and taken out we will see CUU move right back up today.  That's the one problem with using stops on volatile stocks.  Investors worry that they will lose the big gains that they have in a stock that's moved up so they use stops to protect gains.  As you can see in today's trading, stops are not a good idea with a move like CUU is on.  Your stops will get taken out by savvy traders and you end up having to buy back your lost shares at higher prices as the stock makes it's next big move up.
