RE: RE: RE: From Elmer and Jason

RE: RE: RE: From Elmer and JasonMostly I post pretty cryptic stuff to protect my sources or just to make people work. (Like when I gave the data for the last payments of the QE2 and warned that we needed to be cautious. Funny that someone figured that one out pretty quick). Today will be a refreshing change.

That's not going to happen. The cost is too high. I thought there might be a potential for synergy with Galore, Copper Canyon and RG.  No longer looks that way. To combine them with us still requires heavy expense for their deposits. I can't make the numbers work. They would have to gamble big time on higher prices and an improving global picture. I think the RG stuff is about trying not to fall behind. They have tough terrain and have to do a lot of choppering. I think they had a foul up and are using the money to try meet the stated goals. I had hoped it was to go after the pay dirt.

Newmont is my current number 1 contender for our deposit. This will put pressure on NG. Remember, NG can't meet its stated goals where it sits now. This is another reason I think RG may just be a sideshow (albeit and required one) and cuu goes first. The Galore report was a game changer. Newmont and Extrada have to look at us. Newmont is just fine with Teck in the Highland Valley so why not here as well. Information I've uncovered says they are openly looking for a large near term deposit. They are fully capable of completing any such acqusitions. Yes, these are the guys who bought a small property off HPY. That's an interesting story itself worthy of a post. Anyway, we are continuing to get ahead of schedule. I still give them the 2 week oopsies clause but with that said we might be able to have our mine plan at the end of Sept. CUU continues to do things the NG isn't. We are securing infastructure. Just look at the relations with the natives too. Power is on track, Refining and shipping or an track. Permits are running concurrent. The list goes on. These are the things you do if you really intend to mine it yourself! I don't see any of that at NG. Before they even think about port facilities and trucks they have to figure out how to get it to the curb.

We talked about the other great anomalies in the past. Today we talked about the Paramount Zone. The other areas will get a look see but the focus must be on the paramount zone. I see some of you are pouring over the old data in the acid tests and discovering that the holes skirted the deposits and we are now drilling into high grades. This is true. The drill results will continue to improve. Also, there are 2010 results that need to go into the estimate for the PZ. This should happen by Fall and it will be a game changer. The same sharp pencil approach will be used, no farting around here. The drill results will produce what's expected. Obviously, I couldn't get Elmer to confirm that but I still expect over 1.4 eq. The data supports it. Anything in the same range or better will have a wow factor. I can extropolate that we are on track there as well. In addition, we can drag our drills around. We don't need to chopper them in.

So, what's in the Titan? Oooh Aaahhh, nice. It should be pretty clear why all the excitement in the office these days. I hear chipper voices on the phone. Now talking with Jason for the IR view He tells me that we have the biggest names in the business there. Can't give me the names but I good with knowing they are not from small towns. They got the full due dilly tour including examination of the cores, the flyover and the Engineers Q&A. Internal reports could come out in 2 days. Then there will be follow up calls to the office and generally within 2 weeks the public gets the reports.

It is safe to say that the Titan will be done shortly as they are 1/2 way. We should expect preliminary data soon and the full monty by the end of the month. Now, I know Elmer said noooo, no money wanted or required but what if the Titan reveals a real big cherry? Eh, what then. Well, then we should go raise fiddy mil and poke holes like crazy. I know we are told that the finale is in Oct/Nov but I suspect we will have reason to shoot right up till the snow stops us cold and then table the info. I think this would be our xmass present and arrive at the right time in the market cycles. Sure Oct/Nov are stellar but 1 more month to table a whole whack of extra data? Why not! I can wait.

Mid month drill results look like a reality. Jason says focus on the two top issues of the moment and all else will be taken care of. He expects that same as I do but knows less about geology (or so he says). Given the lab time etc 2 weeks would be ideal or anything after this week. I give them till Tuesday next week. Monday might be good but I'd almost want the extra day. Drilling results confirm the decision to focus on the PZ. We have some pending stuff that I'm sure is going to get people excited.

The share price. I know we're all getting annoyed with the antics. But this is the venture exchange and I don't see that changing. For those who trade we'd like to see more volume and the longs just want to see milestones. In 2 weeks we should both be happy. Yes, there will be attempts to move us around. First though, we have to see the USA job numbers. The Swiss move was just a pause and the job numbers are closer to home. Should that be negative you can bet the traders will try beat us down. If it has a hair of good news the market will jump a bit before it settles down. Then after that we should see a smoother trail for 2 weeks. Then the Europeans can clamour about break up some more. At some point there should be a move by the FED and that could carry us into the next session. The Sept 1 reports will once again have their effect and so on and so forth. What you might want to consider is that if things go bad what usually happens is that only the brightest stars will shine and that's us. Elmer knows this is coming and gets good advise on it. Yes, he does read his emails and he does ask the right questions so I know his awareness is improving.

The PDF update. Yes, it's coming and so is the Chinese one. We can expect them Monday. I know a few people who really need the latter so if it comes early all the better. But that's also why I think Tuesday or later for a NR. Might as well let those guys get in so we get a stronger support base.

Now, I have a bunch more for the next post (time permiting) and some evidence that supports my speculations. That would also lead to more speculations like why did Newmont buy off HPY such a tiny land package and what got discussed behind closed doors there. Also, who else is working in the Highland Valley area of BC and what's the big deal about the New Afton mine and the techniques being used...
