RE:RE:RE:Alaska. Uh oh!!!No suprise with this. I was raising the transboundary issue more than a year ago here and the dismissal by the pundits here was complete. Some even doubted that Schaft Creek (the waterbody) drained into the Stikine. In my private group at the time, one person felt is was non-issue and chastized me, another signal to me that people were getting less critcal and more defensive about the investment. What started out as a speculation took material shape with the TCK decision and then the TED talk. There is more coming as well.
This is why I continue to state that the current cycle holds little hope for SC, and there is a risk that growing environmental oversight will ultimately preclude many of the NW BC projects, not just SC.
