CVW CleanTech Inc V.CVW

Alternate Symbol(s):  CVWFF

CVW CleanTech Inc. is a Canada-based clean technology company. The Company is focused on providing solutions to the mining sector of Canada's oil sands industry. The Company has developed a suite of technologies called Creating Value from Waste (CVW) that recover bitumen, solvents, valuable minerals and water from oil sands froth treatment tailings. Its technology is designed to intercept oil sands froth treatment tailings before discharge to tailings ponds, recover commodities that are lost to tailings ponds, and thicken these residual tailings for their permanent deposit in designated disposal areas. Recovered commodities include naphtha, bitumen, and valuable minerals. It has developed technologies to recover heavy minerals, primarily titanium minerals and zircon sand, and a significant portion of the bitumen and diluent from this tailings stream (the Oil Sands Project). The Company has a concentrator plant (CP) and mineral separation plant.

RE:Any other decade longs still around?

RE:Any other decade longs still around?

Ya. Been over a decade for me. I understand about the wife. After a few years she matched my position, so I hear it even more lol. All good.

I see Jones put the word out for shares a few weeks back, they wanted whatever they could get at .80  I think they finished up around 500,000 shares accumulated. They never could have accumulated that much on the open market. They buy for Institutions. Institutions are at approx 4.5 million shares with 4 owning them.

I was certainly happy reading about the receipt of multiple financing contingent proposals. After all, I was complaining about lack of transparency with material news.

I do feel re-assured Management is trying to move forward, probably closer than we have ever been. Although, buybelownav did say we were on the goal line about 8 years ago. A little premature looking back. Buybelownav has been lurking. There were a couple posters with the same writing style posting now and then, not going to mention which ones. Maybe he will resurrect buybelownav2.

I see the team they have assembled and assume that a decent royalty deal will be in place if a deal is made. Lassonde, Morcombe, Dubey, the expertise is there. On the other hand, my only reason, based on what we know, the deal is and has got pushback, is CNR. CNR definitely has a team, or two, working on clean operations solutions. I think that is the breaking point. Those teams want to be successful and adopting outside technology, well, tough pill to swallow. Therefore, I think there is more chance of a buyout now then ever before by CNR. Look at the positives for them, they own all the patents, the technology, their people can take it over, albeit with select CVW staff  staying on for a negotiated time period.

'If that were to happen, that leaves the fence sitters with zero. I'm sure many investors are planning to jump back in on solid news, but a buyout means the chance will be gone, forever. You wake up one morning, share price for buyout set, and it's all over.

All just speculation  of course.
