Ceylon Graphite's oustanding K1 and M1 Developments
K1 and M1 Developments _______ | | Ceylon's K1 and M1 sites show the go-forward path for the company's future. | | The Mayor of Toronto, Canada, John Tory, in 2017 during his in-person visit to our K1 site! | | The K1 site is Ceylon Graphite's first producing mine. This site has received an Industrial Mining License Category A from the Geological Society and Mines Bureau, which is the highest category license that can be obtained for a mining project in Sri Lanka. This license allows a party to mine, process and trade in graphite that is mined within the area specified in the license. Within the K1 mine, the Company has identified 4 vein systems. Graphite mined from the Company’s K1 site is known to be some of the highest grade in the world and has been confirmed to be suitable for a range of applications, including electric vehicle and battery storage markets. The Company’s primary near term objective is to accelerate production at its K1 site, which first began production this year. | | Ceylon's M1 site is located in Malsiripura, Sri Lanka and is the Company's second mine that is fast approaching production. Ceylon Graphite is in the process of obtaining approval for an IMLA (mining licensing) and anticipates the start of production by May of 2021. The Company has a current NI 43-101 for this very promising site. Looking forward, the Company anticipates other development sites to come online in late 2022.
