Beta glucan for LDL reduction.

Beta glucan for LDL reduction. What level of LDL cholesterol reduction has to be reach to make this clinical study a success? 10% , 15% ,20%. Someone knows? I found on HC site that 3g per day of oats reduce LDL by 5 to 8%. How can we judge if the results are good or not if we do not know the target at the beginning. Is a LDL reduction of 8% is enough or not?

Will PGX technology make the beta glucan much more effevtive to reduce bad cholestorol?

I doubt beta glucan could be used as a stand alone therapy , after all Statins are very effective much more than 8% of LDL reduction.
