It's Sunday and no information from DBG yet.

If I could recommend anything it would be to wait until the company provides an update either througth a Press Release, on their web site or through a direct address on Utube, anything else said on this forum is pure speculation. I do, however, find it coincidental that the Chad Day scenario appeared on this forum just when DBG is trading at all-time highs. I have seen this before where negative information is distributed to cause doubt and subsequent pullback in price so that negotiations regarding pricing structure is done at a lower price, essentially a form of forced negotiation, not common negotiation. It reminds me of Trump and the Quid Pro Quo, i.e. you give me something and I will give you something in return, the something wanted is usually algined with a threat or of great value.

I still have no idea why this HALT occurred, at first I thought it was to release significant assays from Hole 36, and now I am not so sure given the recent information that has come to surface. So basically I (we) have no choice but to wait until I (we) learn more. Good Luck....

I agree. They could have been put in a corner and told "ok these people don't want you here based on the articles, so sell the Hat property at the discounted price we (insert company) are willing to pay." Another scenario could be that the apparent representative of the Tahltan people wanted a juicy stake in future Dbg developments on the property and had a "my way or the ...more

Further to my last post, I found and read the www.ming.com article from March 18, 2021. It says that DBG has failed to negotiate within the Tahltan Central Government Engagement Framework (TCG's Engagement Framework). This sentence implies to me that there were negotiations, but what we dont know is there still negotiations. Since Farshad likely recieved something from the Tahltan Government ...more

Other properties in Tahltan culturally sensitive areas where work hasn't been allowed: - GJ-Spectrum (sold by SKE to Newcrest in 2020 for $7.5M). This propoerty had a good NI43-101 showing 100s of $M in NPV but couldn't be worked on due to being in a culturally sensitive spot. - QEX's Mabon deposit. Similar story to above. The deposit is in a culturally sensitive location and in view ...more

Thanks! I appreciate that coming from someone who clearly needs to read up on "moral hazard". I will happily retract my comments once the Tahltan nations retract their objections to DBG's work, the rumored $700M buyout happens or pigs fly.
