Tom2K20.... having read the most recent article dated today April 21, I simply don't know what to say. If this is truely Chad Day's position (since it is basically in writing from what I guess is an interview), I don't know what to say. The Tahltan have negotiated with other groups successfully but they appear to want DBG out of the area. I don't know how the Board of Directors of ...more

That and he was biding his time till the implementation of the UNDRIP into Canadian law to turn Mount Edziza, Klappan Valley & Sheslay into conservancies. And Annita McPhee, former president of the Tahltan Central Government, became executive director of the B.C. chapter of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society in december. Chad Day is a smart strategist.
