The question should not be "why no news once halted" but "why halt if news was not ready to be put out" ..................Therefore DBG should be trading until news is ready to be released.

Generally speaking the Exchange would agree with that comment, but it's not entirely uncommon to ask them for your stock to get halted if you feel a material event is imminent and there is a risk of that news leaking out ahead of the PR being prepared and approved by both sides (which sometimes takes days).
