RE: Hard to Stay awake.....

RE: Hard to Stay awake.....

But the Sudanese and the Saudis agreed to develop the Atlantis II Deeps in 2014.  You'd think after the manganese PR, something else would come.  The problem is that everyone associates Deep Sea mining with Nautilus.  And Nautilus has a contraption to mine the ore and a lift.  DFI has 8 meters of mud to pick up.  They should acknowledge that they either have or do not have a plan of action in place to lift this sediment.  They are proficient dredgers.  This is 2000 ft down.

Back when this was .47, people were optimistic that the future was deap sea mining.  Now, it is all but forgotten.  Very odd, as some large deposits are in water.  Demand may make this viable.  The Saudis could make this viable.  The cost of mining this 2000 ft deposit is unknown.  But if oil rigs can drill and lay pipe in the deep, surely someone can scoop up mud from the deep.

Exposure is key.  It takes financing, a resource and visibility (aka promotion).  Location alone may make this a dead stock.  It's in wait and see mode.
