Can you equate the same distance to a gasoline use?

Audi A4 fuel with mixed drive: 7.8 litres/100 km

Gas in the Vancouver area right now is around $1.90/litre so that would be about $14.82 per 100km.

Does that seem right? $3.33 vs $14.82 to go 100km?
