What insider on a micro cap unloads that many shares to kill

momentum? You would be hard pressed to find 1, if the company is legit.

Maybe the real momentum hasnt started yet. There was no good time to do what he did and they had to pick a time that would have the least impact. Maybe this was considered by management to be the best time knowing what is coming up.

Based on my experience in investing in juniors ...the key to any junior is the credibility of management. Currently there are valid questions about DM management. The stock is where it is because this is what the current market determines it should be... basically, it's the aggregation of all investors views based of available information....whether good or bad. Until management provides more ...more

I agree in one point @korupsion: "maybe it was considered by management to be the best time", otherwise they wouldn't do it now. But for me the question is still, why issuing nearly 9 million options at $0,17 and sell it directly to the market for a ridiciouls low price at $0,22? Why Andrew Ryu needs money again? They aquired Concierge. This deal is done. And most of it, at least ...more

I have to say, until now not all of those options are sold to the market! But nevertheless, issuing and selling options by insiders, in in a short time frame (selling, issuing, selling, goes on since January), without giving a reason for these actions, I don't like it! JMHO Torlif

Torlif, The Insiders selling is very disturbing for me. Voiced my concern with CEO, But, Have not heard back from him.
Comment by TorlifTostorson on Mar 15, 2021 6:03pm
For me too @JWING I also wrote to the CEO and expressed my concerns and let him also know about the mood at the board. I assume we'll hear something about the ongoing processes this week. One is for sure, I'll hold my shares like an "GME Ape with diamond hands" :) Torlif

Perhaps he did the interview today because many of us emailed him?

Some of you know I am long on CBDT, when one guy from the board (Dustin Klein) sold millions of his shares on the first run up a couple of days later we woke up to this news release: "Empower Clinics announces resignation of director effective immediately". It was darn impressive and then in the interview that followed Steve said he wanted to send a message to everyone else on the board. ...more

@gal, I'm just reading this post. .. I really hope DM does too. Good example of how to handle a situation that is obviously affecting sp, investor confidence and maybe uplisting.
Comment by GalAnonymous on Mar 16, 2021 3:58pm
@EM, well said. I am just rewatching that interview with Steve (Empower's CEO) and he also said that the weekend following the incident he asked his securities lawyer to prepare a memo on the policies of insider trading and CBDT's insider trading policy as one of his internal responses. He then circulated it to the leadership team members in different divisions as a mechanism to provide ...more

DM seemed lax with their corporate governance policies and procedures.....or they currently don't have one!! I work for a major Can Company and I know for fact we can't sell any shares during blackout periods.....do DM actually have any blackout periods? That's enforceable?? The market is not impressed with management right now....really hope this change soon.
Comment by subbzthehun on Mar 16, 2021 4:16pm
The biggest testament of DM management's incompetency is not taking avdantage of the massive momentum gained 2-3 weeks ago. Call me naive, but it seems so simple. At that point just create some urgency, but nope, fk the investors!

If Nexalogy is so superb maybe they should apply it to these boards so they may come to a general consensus of how the shareholders feel!!!

Love it! I have been saying that all along about this Covid, sorry AI company.
Comment by EM10328 on Mar 16, 2021 11:08pm
@Gal, I agree.  I also feel it is fair to assume there is no such policy at DM and wouldn't be surprised to find out there was an investigation at some point.  They are a growing business hanging on to small business problems (ie. lack of board governance policys and lack of overall marketing) and it is holding back their success.  They cannot play with the big boys until they ...more

@EM, you're absolutely right. It's interesting, Steve said the exact same thing that to be listed on Nasdaq and become a Fortune 500 company you need to act like one from day one, have all the policies in place etc. Excuse my language but it sounds like Marshall needs to grow some balls and take charge of his team, instead of turning a blind eye to insiders selling. At the same time I ...more

Torliff, of all the early Longs, you have by far been the strongest supporter of DM, through all the tough times.  Your observations regarding the insiders selling then re-issuing more options, then selling those, echo and amplify the growing call for answers from all the longs.
