Telehealth Market

They are so far behind Telus, Lifeworks and other huge Telehealth providers, I don't see how this even matters?  That market is convoluted with race to the bottom pricing, I don't see how this is news.  If anything, they should have been one of the early players such as EQCare ( purchased by Telus) who was the true innovator of this indusrty here in Canada.

They all have free services during regular business hours and then you can pay if you want 24/7 availability.  Can someone tell me how they think this will help DM, as I can't understand how it will.  Cheers and I will appreciate any thoughtful replies.

Still waiting on an answer, especially from all of you supporters of the stock.  It's funny how you skip right over this.  If this is positive news today, explain how and how they compete with the industry giants.

I think the main difference is having doctors and nurses that provide homecare. Does Telus send a doctor or nurse to your house? Not sure about this

Better AI? Or maybe the market is in its infancy and there is room for several players at this stage. If consolidation occurs in the future medi-call may be a target for acquisition if they can carve out a niche now.

Normally a company entering a new market will have normally perform die dilligence that would include market depth research. This would be protected info the company has not and normally will not share this info publicly. With that being said you must be living under a rock without having done your DD on Telehealth in general. If you had then you would know that Telehealth is a fast growing ...more

...because one of DM's clients was asking for this said Marshall I believe in a Discord call... must be a large client if DM is willing to go for it... All assumptions of course, as we're your comments...

I also remember drones being asked for at some point by some of DM's client(s). That too seems to not have played out well. SG3579

You remember incorrectly. They wanted a video platform to integrate their AI.

DM's core is its Nexalogy SMART AI, which is expected to drive revenues (i.e. $40M DND contract). Other verticals (i.e. eHealth, EV, fintech) are rather nascent and little info has been shared on these so far. As such, most here are giving DM the benefit of the doubt. We'll see what comes from these in due course - understanding some will work and others not. Time will tell where eHealth ...more

Resilience 19. When you say "For my part, I currently give that vertical$0 value, so no risk of being disappointed either way." You must be forgetting that $12 million in stock plus ongoing development dollars have been spent on Medi-Call. I for one am very concerned about the lack of disclosure on what is going on with Medi-Call.
Comment by JWING17 on May 18, 2022 4:27pm
That's a lot to forget.

I read you @mark. Never said I liked the deal. This said, whatever DM's donr over yhe past 2 years has resulted in much of a sp uptick, so however irritating having little to no visibility on $12M (of C-19 test income), it's a done deal. Since I'm a small fish in the pond (1M sh) I prefer focusing on the lower lying fruits (SMART and SK). If something come of Medi-Call, so much the ...more

I think medi-calls success will come from landing the Doctors. Who will already have a large client base and will view medi-call as a way to create easier and faster access to their existing clients, allowing them to increase their client base and income. Also I find it very hard to believe that any company out there is offering to be a free tele-health provider hahaha, the patient might not ...more

Actually Q1 may not be too bad.....3,7 million AI and covid tests were much higher than Q4. Now as for medi Marshal has not once given us any reasons why he gave 60 million shares for something unproven and not even built yet, this was a huge blunder for the medium term for our share price, can't believe he did that.....60 million shares are you kidding me and 1 year later we still do not know ...more
