The challenges associated with EV charging will take years to be fully solved. considering the amount of time needed to fully charge an EV the demand for charging solutions will continue to grow especially now that the world is shifting to EVs. I think DM is on the right path.

At a fast charger, the station will most likely cut off at 80% charge regardless of the amount of KW put out by the charger, as the rest needs to be trickle-charged past 80%.  There is no financial benefit for a company to charge beyond the 80%.  It has nothing to do with the chargers and everything to do with the Battery Management System (BMS) extending the life of the batteries
