TELEHEALTH CURBING MENTAL HEALTH RELATED SUICIDE CASES
The need for mental health care is growing as are the numbers of people who suffer from mental illness. The growth in rural populations brings with it barriers to mental health care such as limited access to mental health practitioners, long trips to seek treatment in person, and heightened stigma. Medi-call will allow remote medical consultations and help reduce suicide related to mental illness among these rural populations.
