I would imagine the USGOV would do what it takes to secure a supply considering it's one of the main reasons they decided to shut down the national reserve to encourage privitization and exploration. They discovered in 2010 ish the national reserve only had 2 years supply which caused rationing and the price of HE3 to skyrocket to 500k per troy ounce.
