When RR says pure hydrogen that's in the one zone? Is there helium in this latest well?  The hydrogen is interesting. Maybe making green ammonia on site will be an option at some point.

I want to know what the He was. H is future stuff. RR says 6 for 6 but mentions no significant He. WTF that doesn't make you 6 for 6. Can someone please clarify what they found and how much He is inferred by what he said (I know they are waiting for results).
Comment by tylerod1 on Mar 01, 2022 12:25pm
He didn't infer any HE. It's not a dry well they found green Hydrogen, is it a bit of a spin to say 6 for 6 ? Yes.  He mentioned some low levels of neon and rayon also in the hole but didn't mention helium at all.   It would be nice if we got a surprise on the final testing but i'm expecting a % helium that isn't commercially viable based on his statement and ...more

Finding commercial grade hydrogen and lots of it is a huge bonus.  If we find even more it's a bit of a gold mine and they'll have to look at this as additional routes for revenue and not just back up fuel. With how low key they have been keeping everything decent helium levels wouldn't even be a shocker to me, but if not it's fine too.

wasn't there some kinda deal with Earl resources having to do with hydrogen?
Comment by Deerock on Mar 02, 2022 5:43am
Just putting this out there. I wonder what the economics of using hydrogen as the primary energy source compared to solar. We all know how expensive solar panels are and they may last a long time but certainly not forever. Depending on how much hydrogen there we could have a very green, abundant, low cost, readily available energy source without the worry of depreciating capital equipment, the ...more

Hydrogen fuel technology has massive potential in the commercial sector for replacing some of the worlds worst pollutant machinery like bulk container ships, cruise lines, commercial furnaces, planes, heavy machinery etc. Testing is going on in every sector but infrastructure isn't there yet. Sill quite a ways off from significant adoption.  https://www.maritime-executive.com/article ...more

Yes Hydrogen could be used as fuel but it is extremely dangerous. But you would make more money selling it to Mush and Bezos to get their payload into space.

See latest news report today. Says there is helium in the Well.
Comment by Buyhigheatchips on Mar 02, 2022 11:12am
That's good. I was scratching my noodle after that last NR.

I must say I'm appreciating the strong and regular news flow at the moment. There's not a huge amount of significance coming out at this stage (that will await news on the production testing results and purchase contracts), but compared with the sclerotic progress of last year, things are definitely moving along at a decent clip.

I had to look it up Bertie Sclerotic:  becoming rigid and unresponsive; losing the ability to adapt. "sclerotic management"

Why the blahs Golden? Seems to me that helium is becoming even more valuable in the US due the certain geopolitical issues atm. Lots of uncertaintly in the markets too so investors seem to be reverting to traditional valuation methods. Do you think that DME will be bringing in more than CDN$17M in (annualized earnings plus exploration/development costs) in March 2023? Or what is the NPV of our ...more

The "blahs" are  possibly the result of the lack of He numbers. Still a side effect from all of last years hype, which was a giant misstep by DM and RR. I hope that the lack of info on helium is an over correction on their part to avoid panic, but it could also be deflection. I agree that once the plant is running, the story turns.
Comment by Buyhigheatchips on Mar 03, 2022 7:04pm
"The scramble for helium could increase business for small-scale producers who make up only a minority of the world's gas supply. "Our phone's been ringing off the hook," said Nick Snyder, chairman and CEO of North American Helium, which produces from two facilities in Canada, and predicted the sanctions could permanently chill demand for Russia's supply of the gas.  ...more

Neon and Radon (not rayon: synthetic fibre) aren't important and yes H especially if green. So we are 6 holes in and stock is stuck at 2.50
