Instead of blaming shorts, communists or whatever for you lack of understanding, better learn how to invest and how to protect your capital.

Companies cannot push the price higher unless they have some good news or earnings. Otherwise SEC will invetigate. You can never issue shares at the market price. It's at a discount. Underwriters have to make money. Couple of months ago, HUT was trading at around $6 and they issued shares at $4. I am just gueassing that this is the reason for this price action. HUT and HIVE are shorted as well. HIVE even more than DMG, and they all went up today.
