We are Canada’s premier digital healthcare and wellness Platform, providing affordable, on-demand access to quality care. We named our company “Dialogue” because we believe that excellent care starts with a positive two-way conversation between a person and a healthcare provider who genuinely cares.
We started with a simple virtual care app that connected a user to a nurse or a physician. This core idea evolved into an Integrated Health Platform™, a one-stop healthcare hub that centralizes all of our programs in a single, user-friendly application, providing access to Services 24 hours per day, 365 days per year from the convenience of a smartphone, computer or tablet.
Our Customers are employers and organizations who have a vested interest in their members’ health and well-being. We believe our value proposition is highly compelling, helping to provide our Customers with substantial savings opportunities through improved employee satisfaction and reduced employee absenteeism.
Questions:
1) Why did Sun Life choose to acquire Dialogue over DOC in spite of the fact that it has been offering one of DOC's services to cients for over 18 months now?
2) Will Sun Life continue offering DOC's Mental Health Coach service to clients, or does Dialogue offer a similar service to replace it?
My answer to question 1 is SunLife's existing investments in Dialogue.

Answer to question 2 is I don't know the difference between the two products but I am willing to make the assumption ( possibly wrong) that SLF will develop something in house if they don't have a comparable.
