Small diamonds

Small diamonds

I know there has been lots of conversation here on small diamonds, but since everyone that has been on here a long time knows I know just about nothing about diamond mining other than what I have learned on here, know the odd thing about buisiness in general but thats a whole other story.

Anyways I was talking to the owner of a jewelry store the other day and he said the large diamond market has rebound somewhat in price but the small diamond market is flooded with small diamonds and has not.

Part of the reason it is flooded other than obvious ones that there are more of them produced, in thee USA and to a much smaller extent Canada there is a huge market of gold buyers and companies that buy gold due to the price of gold, with the economic downturn in the USA more than Canada there are massive amounts of people taking in jewelry to sell it to get some money to pay bills or whatever.

In a lot of that jewelry are for the most part small diamonds, jewelers and others (USA for sure) have bag fulls amongst bagfulls of small diamonds that far outweigh any demand.

Just wanted to share that for what it is worth.

PJ invests without emotion, very smart, I get his point from his perspective, even though others or even most have a much different perspectives.

I may even resemble his remark lol
